The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
CCAC Community Education offers non-credit, fee-based classes and activities designed to serve individuals with educational goals that do not require college credit.
Classes are available across a wide array of subjects, length of courses, times and locations. Take courses in subjects ranging from business to computers, languages, fitness, cooking, dance and much more, all available in many convenient locations throughout Allegheny County.

in conjunction with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services and
Temple University are office this 90-hour course. This course is designed to foster the
knowledge, skills and attitudes that family workers need; its goal is to ensure
that those who are in direct contact with individuals and families achieve
maximum effectiveness in the delivery of helping services. The course curriculum
meets current academic and credentialing standards, builds on other existing
Family Development training models and measures student’s achievement of core
competencies. This model promotes student’s success in assisting families
develop the knowledge and skills they need.
Individuals who successfully complete this course may work in the Human
Service industry as Social Service Support Specialists.
