PITTSBURGH- This Wednesday at noon, employees at every campus of
the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) will walk a mile
during their lunch hour to promote healthy lifestyles. Each campus
has mapped out a mile-long course for participants on or near CCAC
The event connects with the national Walk@Lunch initiative by
Blue Cross Blue Shield, which is intended to help people
incorporate physical activity into their work days and encourage
them to increase their daily physical activity by walking at lunch

certificate programs and offers thousands of lifelong learning
non-credit and workforce development courses to 35,000 students
