At CCAC, we believe that life outside the classroom is an important part of your college experience. Each CCAC campus has a variety of activities to enhance your lifestyle – including athletics, cultural events and personal development seminars.
The CCAC Educational
Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
The Community College of Allegheny County fosters strong relationships with local, county, state and federal government entities for the good of our students. This includes advocating for education-related issues and budget allocations as well as positioning the college with key workforce and opinion leaders. The college’s government relations office builds and maintains relationships to provide information and assistance to these entities when needed. This office is CCAC’s principal source of information on governmental matters and is the institutional point of contact for federal, state, county and local governments and community representatives and their staffs.
Government Relations works closely with the CCAC Office of Sponsored Programs & Sponsored Research which manages grants funded through federal, state, county and local government resources as well as providing assistance on the writing, submitting and managing of grants.
