As the country’s workforce becomes increasingly diverse, employers are seeking individuals who have a greater degree of cultural competency and a broad understanding of diversity in the workplace.

CCAC’s Ethnic & Diversity Studies certificate program is designed to enable individuals to explore and understand differences based on age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin or physical or mental ability. Students will be equipped with the ability to think and write critically about race, class and ethnicity in social and historical contexts.

  • Prepare for Your Future

Even taking a few courses can help augment your resume in the ever-changing workplace.

In addition, a certificate in Ethnic & Diversity Studies will prepare students for further study in the field, as well as in a range of other disciplines, including business and nonprofit administration, teacher education, law, medicine, journalism, public health, public policy and social work.
