Foundation is the fundraising and benefactor arm of the college. It seeks to
create vital connections between the college and the wider community
to ensure the ongoing viability of the college.
Blackboard is CCAC's course management system used for Internet, Hybrid and technology supported courses. Blackboard is accessed through the Internet; therefore there is no software to install or download to your computer. Internet and Hybrid students will receive a letter from the Online Learning (OL) Center prior to the start of the semester regarding their NetID account and information on logging in to CCAC’s Blackboard system.
Important: You may create your CCAC NetID upon acceptance to the College.
Access to Blackboard may be available three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. Students are encouraged to login to Blackboard before the semester begins to ensure that potential login problems are resolved prior to the start of the semester.
After successfully logging in to Blackboard, you will have immediate access to a course labeled “Welcome: Start Here” which is the orientation site for students taking Online Learning courses at CCAC. Students will not have access to their registered courses until the first day of the term. Students will usually not have access to their online courses until the first day of the class.
In some non-online learning courses, instructors may choose to put course materials into a Blackboard course site. To access this online content you need a NetID and password. You can create a NetID account in a campus open lab or online at netid.ccac.edu:
